U/14 Tour

Our u/14 tour was a success with our boys doing the district proud by retaining the Clae Webb Shield and the Southport Cup.

The results were as follows:

• V Group 1 we won 28 – 12
• V Ballina we won 32 – 6
• V Kawana we lost 12 – 4
• V Toowoomba we won 18 – 0
• V Southport we won 32 – 0
• V Helenvale we won 24 – 0

Whilst away on tour, the boys sat for their referee’s certificate which was a new initiative and worked really well in furthering their Rugby League Education.

U/17 Tour

Our u/17 team travelled to the Northern Territory and won both of their games:

• V Northern Territory u/18 we won 12 – 6
• V Katherine Tigers u/18 we won 32 – 16

This was our first trip to the NT and the boys were treated like rock stars. Whilst up
there, we ran a Kids to Kangaroos Clinic and also did some promotional work with their sponsors. The team also went on a Croc cruise and enjoyed the local hospitality.
