A kind gesture by hooker Robbie Farah has seen a signed Wests Tigers jersey raise more than $5000 for the Cure For Life Foundation. Farah donated a signed half Balmain Tigers/half Wests Magpies heritage jersey at the annual Wests Tigers Grand Final luncheon at Le Montage, Leichhardt, on Friday, October 3, with the proceeds going to the foundation. "I lost my uncle Joe to a very aggressive brain tumour in April this year, so I thought I do something to help raise funds for the Cure For Life Foundation," Farah said. "Joe was diagnosed last August and to see what he went through was very sad. Joe was only 63." The jersey was purchased by Wests Tigers sponsor Matthew Muir of Muirs Holden for $5750
