Community Development Support Expenditure Information
Every year TIGERS has supported hundreds of local sporting and charity organisations through the Community Development Support Expenditure Scheme. TIGERS Balmain is currently closed for redevelopment. As a result, CDSE applications within the Leichhardt Local Government area will not be sort for 2010 or throughout the period the Club is closed.
TIGERS continue to proudly support junior rugby league in the local area, Balmain Tigers and Wests Tigers to the extent it is able to do. We look forward to the return to our home in Balmain within 2 to 3 years time at which time CDSE applications within the Leichhardt Government Area will be accepted once more.

On 23 January, 1908 over six hundred people met at Balmain Town Hall to officially form the Balmain Rugby League Football Club.
In 2008, as part of the Centenary of Rugby League, Balmain Town Hall was officially recognised as a place of great significance in the history of Australian Rugby League, especially to the Balmain Tigers.
To celebrate this milestone, we unveiled a commemorative plaque at Balmain Town Hall on Monday 3rd August, 2009. The community came together to mark this occasion and celebrate our proud TIGERS history.
