Tigers club is mourning the passing of popular official Jimmy Farlow

Dec 1, 2009

The Balmain Tigers club is mourning the passing of popular official Jimmy Farlow. Jimmy has been apart of our club for the past 10 seasons working with the Jersey Flegg, Premier League and NSW Cup Representative teams.

He has worked with numerous coaches and they have all quoted this week "Jimmy's involvement to the club was invaluable and to the teams he was involved with" Jimmy would organize the Protein, Gatorade and food for all the players on game day and at training.

More importantly, Jimmy became a father figure to players and officials in our club, offering an ear or advice.

Jimmy was a key member of the Balmain Ryde Eastwood Tigers Staff, a grandfather to Jarrod and a father to many of our players. Jim will be sadly missed. Details of his funeral are as follow:

Friday 4th December
12pm
Magnolia Chapel, Macquarie Park Crematorium

Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute with envelopes available at the chapel
